so, i have had my newest pair of toms for almost a week now. all i can say is that they are amazing. i've never had any of the vegan ones but i am beginning to think that they are better than the normal ones, just a thought. i have gotten so many compliments on them, i think the best being that my sister just bought some.
the first day i wore them: i found out that one of my really good friends was engaged to be engaged, i know that it sounds confusing. the best part of it all is that she wants my help in planning the wedding. i want to be an events planner, more for concerts and things like that, but this is going to be exciting. she is the one who introduced me to toms three years ago. they are the perfect toms couple, when they are not barefoot. they liked my idea of having toms at their wedding. so, they have decided to get married barefoot and then they are going to wear the toms that their guests sign when they sign in their wedding book. the toms will have their name or wedding date and will have the signatures of all of their loved ones and will be the perfect thing to rock at their reception, my idea that they loved. its so exciting.
the second and third day: nothing too special, just the average venture to class and back to the dorm. along the way, i got lots of compliments and such. i had a "scene/hipster kid pic day" with some of the cool crumley people, which of course i had to rock the newest toms at. there will be pictures to come.
the fourth day: i had to head home for spring break. by heading home, i mean, driving five hours to get there. my school is in denton and my house is in san antonio. everytime i make the drive, i seem to be wearing my toms. they are very comfortable and just seem to be the right thing to wear. the drive only took about 4 and a 1/2 hours, i think that it was because it wasn't raining like it usually is.
the rest of the days leading up to now: they have been pretty low key, just chilling in san antonio. spreading the joy that my toms bring me. nothing too special.
song of the day: love is our weapon by never shout never.
